/ / WHAT WE MANFACTURE

If it's a metal part in an electronic system, we've probably made one.

Brackets, stampings, and hard-to-find geometries for OEM electronics engineered to your drawing at ±0.05 mm, inspected in Mesa, Arizona before release. 15,000+ unique designs across three decades, same family, same standard, since 1994.

Every section below includes the real specifications — materials, thicknesses, tolerances, minimums, lead times. No form required to see them.

PCI & I/O Brackets

Full-height and low-profile brackets for every common connector geometry and most of the uncommon ones. Stocked configurations ship in days; modifications quoted in 48 hours.

Our standard catalog covers 200+ configurations refined across three decades of OEM work, from the most-requested DB9 cutout to dual HDMI, security lock slots, and ventilation patterns. In practice that means there's a good chance your connector is already tooled and a part that's already tooled is a part you don't pay to tool.

CAPABILITY 02 / 05

Custom Brackets from your drawings.

15,000+ unique designs delivered across three decades. Send a drawing → PDF, STEP, DWG, or hand sketch. We'll engineer to your exact tolerances, materials, and finishes.

Every quote comes back with design for manufacturability feedback: tolerances that will be expensive to hold, a bend radius that will crack the finish, a feature that's cheaper to pierce than to machine. You get that before tooling which is the difference between a revision and a scrapped die.

Custom doesn't mean expensive or slow. It means your bracket fits your hardware, ships on your timeline, and arrives at the tolerance your application demands. We've engineered for broadcast signal chassis, medical imaging enclosures, industrial control panels, and obsolete instrumentation rebuilds.

Metal Stampings.

Precision stamped components for OEM electronics, enclosures, EMI shielding, contact springs, and mechanical assemblies. Brackets are our reputation, but stampings are our craft.

Three decades of progressive die work across ferrous and non-ferrous materials. We manage the full lifecycle concept review, tool design, first-article approval, production, plating, and packaging and we own every handoff in it. Your stampings are produced by our manufacturing partner in Taiwan, inspected against your drawing at our Mesa facility, and released to you from Arizona.

CAPABILITY 02 / 04

Legacy & Hard-to-Find Parts.

We’ve been doing this a long time and have seen the rise and fall of different styles and specifications. If you’re looking for discontinued bracket geometries, obsolete connector cutouts, ISA brackets, single-geometry runs for products still in service, or a part you can't find anymore, odds are we’ve probably already tooled it in the past. Reach out to see if we still have the part or tooling you’re looking for.

We’ve seen how legacy parts are a real problem in this industry. OEMs supporting long-lifecycle products like medical equipment, industrial controls, broadcast infrastructure, test instrumentation. These industries often need one bracket geometry that stopped shipping fifteen years ago. The work needs a shop with the old dies still on the shelf.

We've made brackets through seven generations of computer hardware, and the tooling, drawings, and knowledge that went with them are still here. If we built your part once, we can likely build it again from the original geometry and if we didn't, we'll work from a sample, a drawing, or a photo with measurements to get you there.

TYPICAL PROJECTS

Legacy Computer Builds · Vintage PC restorations · Industrial automation retrofits · Medical equipment service · Broadcast legacy systems · Instrumentation rebuilds

REVERSE-ENGINEERING

Discontinued connector cutouts · Obsolete form factors · Replacement parts from a sample · Long-lifecycle program support

MINIMUM QUANTITIES

From sample, drawing, or photo with measurements · We confirm dimensions before quoting

LEAD TIME

5–6 weeks · Depends on tooling availability and material sourcing.

COMMON APPLICATIONS

Usually a minimum of 100pcs. Sometimes with legacy brackets minimum can be lower than standard for some configurations. Ask us first with the part in hand.

/ / 05 / HOW YOUR PART GETS MADE

Five steps, and we own every handoff between them.

Since 1994, HAPCO has built brackets and metal stampings through the same two overseas partners. More than 30 years later our relationship with our manufacturing partners is as steady as ever. For our buyers this means two main things. Your price reflects overseas production and you buy from a US Vendor of Record with a W-9 on file.

Thirty years of relationship

Not a vendor we found last quarter. You inherit the vetting.

Country of origin: brackets are manufactured in China, metal stampings in Taiwan. Final inspection, finishing, and fulfillment take place in Mesa, Arizona. Parts are non-US origin and are not suitable for Made-in-USA, Buy American, TAA, or ITAR-controlled requirements.
