Five features that have to be exactly right.
A PCI bracket looks simple, and that's the trap. Every dimension on it has to line up with a card edge, a chassis slot, and a connector at the same time. Get one wrong and the card won't seat. Here's what we control on every part we ship.

Top mounting tab & screw hole
Secures the card to the chassis. Hole position and tab geometry must match the standard so it lands on the case standoff every time.

Bracket Body
The face that fills the slot opening. Flatness and height control whether adjacent cards seat without interference.

Connector Cutout
The window the port protrudes through. Tolerance here is everything. Too tight and the connector won't seat, too loose and it rattles.

Mounting bend angle
The step that offsets the tab from the body typically 5° or 2.5°. Wrong angle and the card sits proud of the chassis or binds.

Lower retention tab
Locates and stabilizes the bottom of the bracket against the card edge and chassis rail.

The single most common ordering mistake is the wrong form factor. Here's the difference, the dimensions, and when each applies so the bracket can fit the chassis the first time.

Most builds need a standard bracket. Some don't.
We'd rather point you to the right path than oversell you. Here's an honest way to tell whether a stocked configuration works for you or whether your project calls for a custom design.
Start with the catalog if…
Your connector is a common type (USB, HDMI, DVI, VGA, D-Sub, BNC, RJ45)
You're using a standard ATX, SFF, or rack chassis
You need full-height or low-profile in a standard finish
You want the fastest path to a quote and parts
Send a drawing if…
Your connector layout or cutout shape isn't in the catalog
You need a non-standard height, width, or band angle
You’re matching an existing or discontinued bracket
You need a special material, finish, or tighter tolerance
/ / BEFORE YOU ORDER
Six things that cause a reorder.
Almost every bracket return traces back to one of these. We check them with you at quote time but knowing them upfront saves everyone a cycle.

Wrong form factor
Confirm your chassis before you confirm the bracket. Ordering full-height for a 2U server, or low-profile for a tower, is the #1 cause of returns, match the form factor to the slot first.
Cutout position off
Send the board or a drawing if the position is critical. The right cutout shape a few millimeters off-center won't line up with the connector on your board.
Skipping the first article
Approve a first article before the full run. On a new or modified part it's the cheapest insurance there is; one sample beats a rejected lot of 2,500.
Bend angle mismatch
Match the bend to the card, not just the cutout. A 5° bracket where the card wants 2.5° (or the reverse) makes the card sit proud or bind against the chassis.
Finish vs. environment
Match the finish to the environment. Nickel or stainless for anything harsh. Bare or zinc in a humid or outdoor enclosure will corrode.

Standard full-height brackets are about 120.02 mm (4.725") overall height, with a body height around 114.94 mm (4.525"), in 0.80 mm SPCC steel. Low-profile brackets are about 79.20 mm (3.118") overall. Exact dimensions vary slightly by cutout and bend; every part has a spec sheet with the precise numbers.

Both. Some high-demand configurations are stocked and ship quickly; most are produced to order against your quantity, which is why pricing scales with volume. Either way, your quote states the lead time clearly. Standard production runs 5–6 weeks (3-4 days via air), and re-runs of a part we've made before are faster since the tooling is already on file.

Yes. For a standard stocked configuration we can usually get you a sample to verify fitment. For a new or modified part, the first-article step serves the same purpose. You approve a verified first piece against your drawing before the production run proceeds. We'd always rather you confirm fit on one part than discover a problem across thousands.

Almost always. Send a physical sample, a drawing, or even a clear photo with key measurements, and we'll reverse-engineer it. This is common for discontinued or legacy brackets where the original drawings are long gone. It moves into our custom workflow, and we confirm dimensions with you before quoting.

Production happens at our established overseas manufacturing partners, while quoting, inbound quality inspection, finishing, packaging, and fulfillment all happen at our Mesa, Arizona facility. You order from a US company, get a USD invoice with Net 30 terms, and every shipment is inspected on our side before it reaches you. Standard MOQ is 100 pieces. Per-piece price drops steeply with volume — roughly 85% lower at 2,500 pieces than at 100. Most production buyers order in larger batches. For recurring parts we can set up blanket orders with scheduled releases so you commit to volume pricing without taking all the inventory at once.

Yes — two ways. Silk screening handles logos, part numbers, and color marking ($85 screen charge + $30 setup + $0.65/part). Steel stamping gives a permanent mechanical mark ($275 one-time engraving). Stamping is best for traceability that has to survive handling and plating; screening is best for branding and visual marking.
