Most bracket suppliers won't tell you what anything costs until you're three emails deep with a sales rep. We don't operate that way. Here's how HAPCO pricing actually works the variables, the volume curve, real ranges, and what to expect before you ever request a quote.

Why we don’t publish per-part prices.
Every bracket is priced on four variables; Quantity, Blank type, Finishing, and Identification. With dozens of permutations per part, a single price tag would be misleading. Instead, we publish the structure, the ranges, and the volume curve. So you know exactly what to expect from your quote.

Four variables. Every Quote
Every bracket price at HAPCO is built from the same four inputs. Understanding them lets you predict your quote before we send it.
VARIABLE 01
Quantity Tier
Per-piece price drops sharply with volume. A 2,500-piece run costs roughly 85% less per piece than a 100-piece run.
VARIABLE 02
Blank Type
HAPCO standard blanks (THG-6000, THG-6010, THG-2000) use existing tooling. Fully custom blanks require new die fabrication.
VARIABLE 03
Finishing
Tapping operations, secondary forming, and custom finishing add to the per-piece price. Flat brackets are baseline.
VARIABLE 04
Identification
Silk screening or steel stamping adds setup and per-piece costs. Optional but common for OEM branding and traceability.

Volume is by far the biggest lever.
Bracket pricing follows a steep volume curve. The more you order, the dramatically less you pay per piece. The chart below shows the shape of our standard flat bracket pricing. Specialty and custom brackets follow the same curve, shifted slightly upward.

The ranges on this page give you the shape. Your specific quote depends on your part, your quantity, and your spec. Here's exactly how we get from your inquiry to a written number.

We confirm bracket category (flat, tapped tab, or specialty), feasibility, and any DFM concerns within hours.

Written quote
You receive a quote within 48 business hours per-piece price, tooling cost, lead time, and any add-ons broken out.
STEP 04
PO and production
On approval, we lock the price, schedule production, and your parts ship in 5–6 weeks.

A bracket isn't a SKU off a shelf — it's a build to your specific quantity, blank type, finishing, and identification spec. The numbers on this page show our standard pricing ladders so you can predict where your quote will land. Your actual quote will be a specific number inside one of these ranges, locked in writing before you commit.

No. Tooling is a one-time charge per unique part. Once a die is built (or modified to your specs), it lives on file for re-orders at no additional tooling cost. This is why repeat customers see significant savings on subsequent production runs of the same part.

HAPCO blanks (THG-6000, THG-6010, THG-2000) are our standard starting forms, with existing tooling already in our library. Tooling charge is $1,055 because we're modifying existing dies. Custom blanks require new die fabrication from scratch — tooling charge is $1,755. Both stay on file for future runs.

Stamping is a setup-heavy, run-cheap process. Most of the cost of a 100-piece run is amortized setup (die prep, material handling, QC, finishing changeover). At 2,500 pieces, the same setup gets spread across 25× more parts, so per-piece economics shift dramatically. The volume curve isn't a discount it's the real cost structure.

Production volumes (10,000+ pieces, annual programs, blanket POs) are quoted directly because the economics shift again — progressive die programs, scheduled releases, and VMI relationships open up. We've supported programs up to 250,000+ pieces per year. Talk to us about your volume and we'll structure pricing to match.

The ladders above are our standard list pricing. Long-term customers with high-volume programs, blanket orders, or annual commitments may receive negotiated terms same as any B2B supplier. Your quote will reflect your specific situation, and we're transparent about how we arrived at the number.

All prices in USD. Standard payment terms are Net 30 for qualified accounts. Balance Net 30. We accept ACH, wire transfer, and check. Your invoice comes from our Mesa, AZ office. Single US-based vendor of record for your AP system.
