PDF, STEP, DWG, DXF, and image files (JPG, PNG) all work. For multiple files or large CAD assemblies, zip them together. If a file is too large to upload, email it to quotes@hapcogroup.com and we'll work with it.

Our standard minimum is 100 pieces. Per-piece pricing drops steeply with volume — roughly 85% lower at 2,500 pieces than at 100 — so most production buyers order in larger batches. For recurring parts we can set up blanket orders with scheduled releases.

Yes. For a standard configuration we can usually get you a sample to verify fit. For a new or modified part, the first-article step does the same job — you approve a verified first piece against your drawing before the production run proceeds.

Most of the cost in a stamped part is setup — tooling and machine setup happen once whether you order 100 pieces or 10,000. Spread across more parts, that fixed cost per piece shrinks fast. Material and labor scale, but setup is the big lever, which is why volume pricing improves so sharply.

Tooling is a one-time charge — roughly $1,055 for a part based on a HAPCO blank, up to $1,755 for a fully custom blank. It's not recurring: once built, your tooling is kept on file, so reorders need no new tooling and no repeat setup.

Pricing is driven by volume, configuration, and finish — not by who's asking. Two customers ordering the same part at the same quantity get the same price. The published volume ladder is the same one we quote from, which is why we put it on the site.

All pricing and invoicing is in US dollars. Standard terms are Net 30 for qualified accounts; first orders typically run a 50% deposit with the balance Net 30. We accept ACH, wire, and check. Full-height brackets are about 120 mm (4.725") overall — the standard for desktops, towers, and larger chassis. Low-profile brackets are about 79 mm (3.118") — for slim cases, small-form-factor desktops, and 1U/2U servers. Choosing the wrong one is the most common ordering mistake, so we confirm form factor against your chassis at quote time.

Brackets are produced by our long-standing manufacturing partner in China; metal stampings by our partner in Taiwan. Final inspection, finishing, packaging, and fulfillment are completed at our facility in Mesa, Arizona. No, and we won't claim otherwise. Our parts are manufactured overseas and finished in the US, which does not qualify them as US-origin. We'd rather tell you that plainly than let you discover it during an audit. If you need domestically manufactured parts, a US stamper is the right choice and we'll say so.

No. Because our parts are of non-US origin, they don't satisfy Buy American, Trade Agreements Act, or domestic-content rules. If your program carries any of these requirements, we are not the right supplier — and we'll tell you directly rather than waste your time.

No. We don't take ITAR-controlled or defense work with country-of-origin restrictions. Our focus is commercial and industrial computer-hardware brackets, and we're clear about that boundary up front.

A W-9 is standard for vendor setup. On request we can also provide a country-of-origin statement, commercial invoice, RoHS/REACH declarations, material certifications, inspection documentation, and a mutual NDA. Standard production runs 5–6 weeks from an approved PO, quoted as a firm date you can plan against. Reorders of a part we've made before are faster, since the tooling is already on file and there's no setup to repeat.
